Back in Lourmarin

We came back to Lourmarin after stopping at the grocery store to buy ingredients for dinner. Tonight, we cooked a French dinner - chicken breasts with mushrooms in cream sauce, pommes de terre (potatoes), salad and baguette. Steve and Jess gave us some more lessons on the order of foods that the French people eat their food. We started with our chicken and potatoes followed by our salad (the opposite of what we do in the U.S.). The final course was two kinds of cheese with the rest of our bread. The dinner was great - the only thing missing for me was something sweet. I'm going to make sure that I have some kind of French chocolate before I leave France!
