After Steve and Jessica left, Kevin, Kris, Greg and I set off to climb the 463 steps to the top of the Duomo. It was obviously a long climb up, but we picked the right time of day to do it before it got too hot.
At several different points, you have a chance to see the painting inside the dome before you reach the top.
The views from the top were spectacular! I've just included a couple pictures to give you an idea of the beautiful panoramic scenes. I also included a picture of our apartment terrace as viewed from the top of the Duomo. We've decided to cook in again tonight and eat on our "lovely terrace" under the dome of the Duomo!
