We woke up this morning to a a cold rain - we think it is about 40 F and it is pouring rain. So we decided it wasn't going to be a good day to go hiking in the Alps! We walked to a restaurant and had a great breakfast - coffee, eggs with ham and potatoes, and crepes.
You can definitely see how important food is in the French culture -all the shops have beautiful displays that make your mouth water. The other thing that is very apparent is how important cheese is in the French Cuisine - shop after shop has huge displays of a wide variety of cheeses.
