The top picture is a view of our apartment. It is in an old building, but has been completely refurbished and has a very modern European look. Steve and Jessica met us at the apartment and then we walked through a part of downtown Montpellier until we found a place for dinner. We had a good dinner and enjoyed hearing Steve and Jess' impressions of their time in France. While both of them felt like they hadn't made as much progress with their French as they hoped, we were impressed! They conversed easily with our waiter - so nice compared with my clumsy efforts with my phrase book in hand.
After dinner, they made plans to meet up with some friends - everyone they've met is leaving shortly - and we came back to our apartment to relax, and hopefully get a better sleep tonight.
